A Letter from the Founder

Why we built Keystone IQ for the modern real estate investor.

Spring 2026

Dear Investor,

I built Keystone IQ because I was drowning in spreadsheets. Like many independent real estate investors, my portfolio grew faster than my operational systems. What started as a simple Excel tracker for a few properties quickly evolved into a tangled mess of mortgage statements, vendor invoices, property manager owner packets, and disjointed banking apps.

At year-end reporting time, I spent days manually extracting data from messy PDFs and second-guessing every expense category just to make the numbers reconcile.

I looked at the market for a solution. The software out there was either built for massive enterprise property management companies (costing hundreds of dollars a month) or was far too basic—just simple expense trackers that required manual data entry anyway. None of them used modern AI to actually do the work.

We built Keystone IQ to fill that gap. We use Google's Gemini Enterprise (via Vertex AI) to automate the most painful part of real estate investing: data extraction and ledger entry. You upload a document — the AI reads it, categorizes the line items, and structures it into a dashboard you actually want to open.

Our goal is to give the independent investor the same financial visibility multi-billion-dollar funds have — without the price tag. We want to help you scale your portfolio without scaling your stress.
